Designed for children born between January 1, 2017, and December 31, 2018, 

Our U9 division follows the Canadian Lacrosse Association’s Long-Term Athlete Development Plan. This program introduces young players to the game in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.

The focus is on learning, skill development, teamwork, and FUN! We emphasize participation and fundamental skills over competition.

Program Details:

📅 Season: Mid-April to Late June
📍 Locations: Crossfield, Strathmore, Calgary and Cochrane
🗓 Schedule: Twice a week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, or Sunday
🕐Session Length: 1 hour ( 60 Minutes)

Game Format: LTAD Option L

🥍 5-on-5 play on full floor
🥅 Goalies
     Game Flow:

• 5-minute warm-up
• 3 x 15-minute run-time periods
• 3-minute breaks between periods
• Fallback 

🤝 Push and Play Rule (no aggressive contact)
🚫 No Referees
🚨 Penalties: called and served
📊 Standings available Score is kept and placed on the CDLA website
